Chulapio was born in 2012, in a small bar located in the heart of Barcelona

Two friends Álvaro and Marc, both with extensive experience in the food and bar industry, decided to unite their knowledge and create a vintage bar merged with crepes called Chulapio. The first of its kind!

One of the partners took a tour of French Brittany learning about how authentic galettes and crepes are made. Cities such as Rennes, Châteaugiron, and Saint-Malo were key to finding the true origin of this exquisite dish.

The fusion of cocktails & crêpes was perfect for the growing city of Barcelona. In 2014, Chulapio moved to the district of El Raval, where today many people visit to enjoy good cocktails, crêpes, and fantastic rock & roll music.
